Sorek Artists Management concentrates on general worldwide representation of opera singers and opera related artists. We are proud to present to you an international group of artists: opera and concert singers, conductors and stage-directors. You may notice that a few artists on our roster also specialise in the early music vocal practice as well as in performance of contemporary creations.
Sorek Artists Management values personal contact, open and honest communication and provides services at the highest professional level. We find it exciting and most rewarding to develop careers for young artists, offering advice and guidance that will help them achieve a fulfilling, lengthy and healthy career. As a business, our goal is to keep an optimal balance between the aspirations and requirements of the artists we represent and the needs of promoters.
Founder and General Director Eitan Sorek studied voice at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and was a professional singer himself before making the switch to artists´ management in 2002. Tours and Project Manager Anne van der Heiden originally studied public administration but decided music was a lot more fun. She worked a.o. in the artistic departments of the Doelen Concert Hall in Rotterdam and the Residentie Orchestra of The Hague. Artists’ Manager Henk Spelt worked in the restaurant business among other positions as a sommelier, before making his interest and passion for music his profession by joining our colleagues at ‘Interartists Amsterdam’ as head of their vocal department. Office Manager Dory Danckaarts has years of experience in varied sales' administration positions, mainly with international medical and pharmaceutical industries. Her most recent position was sales and human resources manager of the new local newspaper of The Hague, Den Haag Centraal.
Sorek Artists Management is a full member of IAMA as well as the Dutch FNCI association.
