Webtheatre, Mozart, Le Nozze di Figaro, Angers Nantes Opéra, Nantes, March 2017
“[...]tonight’s recital, which threatened to be a disappointment because of the withdrawal of Angelike Kirchschlager, turned out instead to be a stunning occasion. Kirchschlager’s replacement was mezzo soprano Rosanne van Sandwijk[...] Her talent has attracted the attention of no less a musician than Julius Drake who had no hesitation in recommending her to the Festival organisers.

Rosanne van Sandwijk engaged one’s attention from the start […] This was lieder singing at its very finest which encompassed subtle variations in tone without ever straying from the overall clash of hope and despair the work engendered."
Seen and Heard International, Chipping Campden Festival, Recital with Julius Drake, May 2016
Opernwelt, about the role of Cybèle in Lully’s Atys at Theater Kiel, November 2014
Kieler Nachrichten, about the role of Cybèle in Lully’s Atys at Theater Kiel, October 2014
Operapoint, about the role of Cybèle in Lully’s Atys at Theater Kiel, October 2014
Online Musik Magazine, about the role of Cybèle in Lully’s Atys at Theater Kiel, October 2014

"The only famous aria of the oratorio, “Es ist vollbracht!” , beautifully accompanied by a viola da gamba, was movingly sung by Dutch alto Rosanne van Sandwijk"
