Sorek Artists welcomes Luiza Willert

We are pleased to welcome 25 year old Brazilian soprano Luiza Willert to our roster as an Emerging Artist.  A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, she is the winner of last year’s International Competition of Belcanto Vincenzo Bellini and a current member of the Young Singers Programme at the Mascarade Foundation in Florence. Luiza has also taken part in in the Georg Solti Accademia di Bel Canto and in masterclasses at the NEUE STIMMEN competition. Earlier this year, she made her house debut at Staatstheater Wiesbaden as Papagena and she is looking forward to joining the Opernstudio at Staatsoper Stuttgart next season, where she will perform roles including Clorinda, Frasquita, Papagena, Laura in the Johann Strauss operetta Casanova and a lead role in a world premiere.
