Countertenor Nicolò Balducci joins Sorek Artists

We are happy to announce the signing of 24-year-old rising star Nicolò Balducci for General Management. He will be represented in collaboration with Andrea Penna at Studio Cogliolo in Rome.

Nicolò is the winner of the 1st prize and prize for youngest finalist in the Baroque section of the 2022 Renata Tebaldi Competition as well as 3rd prize and the young artist award at the 2022 Cesti Competition. An exclusive recording artist with BIS, he released solo albums in 2022 and 2023 to critical acclaim. A third solo album will be released in 2024.

Most recent highlights include role and house debuts at the Palau de Valencia, at the Settimani Musicali in Vicenza, at the Festival della Valle d’Itria, and his operatic debut at the Innsbrucker Festwochen für Alte Musik in Vivaldi’s La fida ninfa. This season will see house debuts at Oper Köln, Händelfestspiele Karlsruhe and Opera de Toulon, as well as concerts with Leonardo García Alarcón, Andrea Marcon, Ottavio Dantone and various opera and concert projects at the Opéra Royal du Château de Versailles.
