Biography
Israeli coloratura soprano Hila Fahima has established herself internationally, receiving praise for her effortless virtuosity and beautiful voice.

Most recently, she gave an acclaimed debut in the title role of Lucia di Lammermoor at Aalto Theater Essen, sang Morgana in Handel’s Alcina at New Israeli Opera, gave her house debut at the Bregenzer Festspiele as Gilda in Rigoletto and performed Zerbinetta/Ariadne auf Naxos at the Opéra Nationale de Montpellier and at Staatsoper Berlin, where she also appeared as Königin der Nacht/Die Zauberflöte. Ms Fahima will return in 2022-23 to New Israeli Opera as Dalinda/Ariodante and Olympia in Les Contes d’Hoffmann.

At the age of 22 she was invited to join the ensemble of Deutsche Oper Berlin, where she gave role debuts as Königin der Nacht/Die Zauberflöte, Nanetta/Falstaff and Najade/Ariadne auf Naxos. In 2010 Hila Fahima won 1st prize in the DEBUT competition, followed by 1st prize in the 2013 Stella Maris competition and 2nd prize in the International Singing Competition of Toulouse a year later.

Between 2013 and 2019 Hila Fahima was an ensemble member of Wiener Staatsoper, where she has appeared in roles such as Gilda/Rigoletto, Zerbinetta/Ariadne auf Naxos, Adina/L´elisir d’amore, Norina/Don Pasquale, Königin der Nacht/Die Zauberflöte, Nanetta/Falstaff, Oscar/Un ballo in maschera, Princesse Eudoxie/La Juive, Servilia/La Clemenza di Tito and Fiakermilli/Arabella.
