Biography
Israeli coloratura soprano Hila Fahima has established herself internationally, receiving praise for her beautiful voice, “incredible ease” and “breathtaking precision” (Das Opernglas).

Most recently, she gave house debuts as Oscar/Un ballo in Maschera at Oper Köln, as 1st wood sprite/Rusalka at La Scala in Milan and an acclaimed debut in the title role of Lucia di Lammermoor at Aalto Theater Essen – a role she subsequently performed at Deutsche Oper Berlin and Staatsoper Hamburg. She sang Lucia, Gilda/Rigoletto, Olympia/Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Dalinda/Ariodante and Morgana/Alcina at New Israeli Opera, gave her house debut at the Bregenzer Festspiele as Gilda and performed Zerbinetta at the Opéra Nationale de Montpellier and at Staatsoper Berlin, where she also appeared as Königin der Nacht/Die Zauberflöte. In the current season 24/25 she will return to the New Israeli Opera as Zerbinetta/Ariadne auf Naxos and give her debut as Violetta/La Traviata in Austria.

At the age of 22 Hila Fahima was invited to join the ensemble of Deutsche Oper Berlin, where she gave role debuts as Königin der Nacht, Nanetta/Falstaff and Najade/Ariadne auf Naxos. She is also a former ensemble member of Wiener Staatsoper, where she has appeared in roles such as Gilda, Zerbinetta, Adina/L´elisir d’amore, Norina/Don Pasquale, Königin der Nacht, Nanetta, Oscar, Princesse Eudoxie/La Juive, Servilia/La Clemenza di Tito and Fiakermilli/Arabella.More
